Meet The Team

Mrunmayee Padhye

Founder

Mrunmayee Padhye is the founder of ForestBasil. Mrunmayee has over 8 years of experience in banking sector, during which she worked in the field of M&A, Investments and Capital Markets across large financial institutions and other sectors. Mrunmayee led key projects at some of the marquee financial institutions such as Morgan Stanley and Citi Bank in United States. Mrunmayee brings with her the expertise of conducting detailed financial valuations and investment analysis by pooling her complementing experiences across robust risk analysis, industry and markets analysis, and capital structure. Mrunmayee was awarded for demonstrating excellent leadership and high collaboration in her latest experience as Vice President at Citi Bank.

Outside of her work, Mrunmayee is passionate about meeting investors, founders and entrepreneurs and is active at attending various conferences.

Mrunmayee holds a Masters degree in Quantitative Management with major in Finance from Duke University, Fuqua School of Business and Bachelor of Commerce degree from University of Mumbai.

Mrunmayee also holds Chartered Accountancy license from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, which is very similar to U.S. CPA license.
